A new analysis by Auto Trader found that nearly two-thirds of car-related videos on TikTok contain misleading or potentially harmful advice, with car repair and cleaning hacks being the most concerning categories. The study found that 90 per cent of car repair videos on the platform should not be attempted by inexperienced mechanics, as they could lead to further damage.
