This new option allows individuals to earn their certification remotely, which ASE said will increase accessibility and convenience. ASE also uses this remote testing option for recertification exams.

ASE announced the creation of its electric vehicle technician and shop personnel electrical safety standards to minimize exposure to potential hazards of electrified vehicles (xEVs) and associated impacts.
