Failure of the injectors would cause multiple issues, including: Stalling Rough idle Check engine light Misfire Unburnt fuel and soot in the exhaust These issues can result from other sources such as ignition coils, but in most cases, these symptoms point to at least one of the injectors being in need of replacement.
