TPMS sensors are usually attached to the valve stem (except for the banded sensor used on some Ford vehicles). Performing vehicle relearns and sensor testing with the vehicle parked away from other vehicles, and ensuring no other TPMS sensors are nearby (like a second set of rims and tires), is recommended.
