This bulletin applies to 2014-2015 RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks built on or before May 23, 2015, equipped with Auto Level Rear Air Suspension. Customers may experience a MIL on. DTC C1556-14 (ride height air pressure sensor – circuit short to ground or open) may be set active or stored in PCM memory. The air suspension may not operate.
Using a scan tool, verify that all engine systems are operating as designed and address as needed. If the aforementioned DTC appears, inspect the wiring harness for shorts and grounds. Repair if needed. If the system still does not operate correctly, replace the system’s air compressor, P/N 68239571AA. Refill the nitrogen charge.
