When I bought my RX-7, I knew I would spend a lot of cash customizing it to my liking. I could've traded all the upgrades for almost 2,000 gallons (7,570 liters) of high-octane fuel.
That would have allowed me more seat time, but the car wouldn't have been as special. As for my motorcycle, I only upgraded its exhaust, but I would love to repaint it soon. I have met people who couldn't care less about customizing their vehicles, but they generally just see their cars as a means of transportation and nothing more.

Some ATV/UTV owners feel the same way, using them for various home-related projects. But I'd be willing to bet that many people going down this route are passionate about going off-road and enjoying their free time. In recent years, I have become increasingly more interested in Polaris products. I'll be extremely happy if I can find a way to drive the RZR Turbo R or the RZR Pro R this year.

But I'd be equally as excited to experience one of the company's UTVs, given my newly discovered countryside activities. We are all built differently and enjoy different things in life. The new Polaris XPEDITION Customs series piqued my interest, as episode one was the Van Life Build. It focused on adventure photographer Quin Schrock, and I just hope my wife won't see that episode. Otherwise, she might urge me to take out a loan and follow down that same off-the-grid path of adventure.

Draco UTV developed a Mountain Bike Build for episode two based on the XPEDITION. I can imagine seeing this project at the SEMA Show, which reminds me that I haven't been there in almost a decade. Some of you might recognize Brandon Semenuk as the Mountain Bike World Champion. From my perspective, I was impressed with his driving at the 2022 American Rally Association Championship.

He won the title despite racing against some of the biggest names: Ken Block and Travis Pastrana. I might just interview Brandon soon, so let's focus on the XPEDITION build for now. I'll also probably chat later with Draco UTV owner Easton Eisele. The mod list is extensive, and everything inside aims to make Brandon's life easier when going out for a ride. If your lifestyle is similar to his, I'm sure this build will make you feel warm inside.

For once, the XPEDITION features three bike racks, so it's easy to bring some friends along for the journey. Trail shaping tools are carefully tucked away in the roof rack, but that's just the start of it all. You'll find more Milwaukee "toys" in the bed, and the whole build just feels like opening up Christmas presents.

I'm a big fan of the Custom Suede interior, although I'm not sure if I'd ever manage to keep it looking so clean after going off-road. I don't know about you, but I'm already eager to see the next project Polaris and Draco UTV plan to unveil.
