While even Tesla feels the freezing 'heat' from the global EV market cooldown, some legacy automakers are undeterred in their quest to dethrone the American carmaker from the EV pedestal. Take Kia, for example, as it has a popular three-row EV9 out and about but also wants more affordable companions.
Kia currently sells the increasingly popular EV9 three-row family-oriented zero-emissions crossover SUV from $55k in America, followed downward by the initial EV6 compact CUV starting at $42,600 and the quirky Niro EV model at $39,600. Obviously, these two are way too close to each other for comfort, right? Elsewhere, the South Korean automaker will also have the new EV5 plus the Soul EV on offer.

Obviously, people might think that Kia's EV lifestyle is a little cramped – but not the carmaker. In fact, the company teased not one but two new or refreshed zero-emissions vehicles this month. The first one was the 2025 Kia EV6, which got a design teaser to showcase some of the facelifted goodies, and we quickly glimpsed the revised front lighting signature that brings it in line with the EV9 and EV5.

Secondly, just a few days later, the final countdown for the first-ever EV3 has also started – this global model is expected to ride on the E-GMP architecture and feature a 400-volt architecture to make it as affordable as possible. It's still too early to predict if Kia will sell the little EV3 in America, where it would naturally replace the Niro EV as the company's most affordable zero-emissions model. However, that doesn't mean we can't speculate at all.

As such, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is happy to oblige. More precisely, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have quickly imagined the CGI looks of the smallest zero-emissions crossover SUV from Kia - EV3 - complete with loads of ritzy colors both for the exterior and interior. Of course, it wasn't too hard for the channel's resident pixel master – Kia has made it abundantly clear from the teaser pictures that it will basically put the Kia EV3 concept into series production without many changes.

One thing that remains to be seen is the interior treatment – the prototype might be a little too minimalist for the current market. Alas, that hasn't stopped this outlet from imagining all sorts of cool shades that could go hand in hand with the soft aesthetics. So, which exterior and interior color combination is your favorite? Also, do you think that Kia will bring the EV3 to America and replace the quirky Niro EV with it because they could potentially sell it at a lower price – something along the lines of $30k to $35k?
