Tesla left the Cybertruck technical details for the last-minute reveal during the Delivery Day event on November 30. Still, Tesla enthusiasts have gathered valuable data from various sources, including the latest Tesla app version, and put the pieces together.
Tesla Cybertruck delivery event is on everyone's mind these days, especially as Tesla made it its mission to keep details under wraps until the last moment. We're mere hours away from the event's start, and the final countdown can be seen on Tesla's Cybertruck landing page instead of the usual "Order Now" button.

This deepens the Cybertruck mystery, whose characteristics and price are still unknown. Of course, there are many speculations, and I've been writing a lot about many of them. Tesla has done an impressive job of keeping everything secret, with very few leaks, despite the Cybertruck being in the spotlight for most of 2023. Still, as the Delivery Day gets near, the Tesla community has discovered some key details by analyzing the most recent software update and, later, the latest Tesla App version.

Based on the Tesla software details revealed by Green (@greentheonly), the 48-volt electrical system of the Cybertruck has been confirmed. Another detail confirmed in the software was the front bumper camera washer and the use of the cabin camera to determine the number of occupants in the cabin. The latter will also be offered on all current Tesla models, but the others are unique to the Cybertruck.

The latest Tesla App version, 4.27.3, brought us even more details, including new renderings of the Cybertruck and its features. Among the most intriguing pieces of information is the upcoming "Beast Mode," including a nifty visualization that gives us an idea about what it might be. The graphic looks like the Ludicrous and Plaid Mode visualizations on the Model S, which hints at a performance mode that will undoubtedly be reserved for the three-motor variants of the Cybertruck.

Based on the Tesla app, the Cybertruck will have at least three wheel options, starting with the 18-inch ones wrapped in standard all-season tires. The 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires are offered as an upgrade, with the wheel covers we know from most Cybertruck sightings, including the vehicles in Tesla showrooms. Finally, the app lists a set of "Premium" tires without offering a picture of them. This suggests they are unique to a performance variant of the Cybertruck, which will launch later.

The new app offers a quick look at some of the Cybertruck's accessories, including the BaseCamp and the optional light bar. An intriguing addition is the solar cover, which can be used to extend the driving range. The Cybertruck will open a new world of customization opportunities, so I'm not surprised that Tesla will dedicate a special section in its Shop for "Cyber" products. This is also reflected in the latest Tesla App.

Tesla will deliver the first Cybertruck units to reservation holders on November 30, 139 days after it announced the first Cybertruck produced at Giga Texas on July 15. The event will start at around 2:00 PM CT (3:00 PM EST, 12:00 PM PST) at Giga Texas and will be live-streamed on X and, possibly, Tesla's YouTube channel.
