This week in Grand Theft Auto Online, Rockstar Games is upping up their game with double, triple, and even quadruple rewards in some cases. Even more enticing are the GTA+ rewards, including one of the company's best titles, L.A. Noire.
Rockstar Games introduced 2011's critically acclaimed L.A. Noire to the $8 per month GTA+ membership, a real single-player treat for veterans and newcomers alike. Aside from the gorgeous era-appropriate vehicles featured, the 2011 game had state-of-the-art facial animation motion capture, which was cleverly used as a game mechanic during witness or suspect interrogations.

Anyone yearning for a greatly written single-player experience should look no further than L.A. Noire. If, for any reason, late 1940s detective stories aren't your thing, the GTA+ membership offers other great games like Red Dead Redemption together with Undead Nightmare, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, Liberty City Stories, and Chinatown Wars.

Bully is next on this list, which should entice old-school players to at least check out the subscription service. For those who want the game on its own, it's currently 10 bucks on Steam. However, I grabbed it at a sale for 3.5 dollars, so if you want to get it cheaper, simply put it on your Steam wishlist.

Returning to our neck of the woods, let's see what Rockstar is cooking for us this week. First, GTA+ members get the Överflöd Entity MT (Super), inspired by the real-life Koenigsegg Jesko. Even better, members also get the Classique Broadway (Muscle) and Albany Roosevelt (Sports Classic), based on the 1947 Oldsmobile Series 66 and Cadillac Town Sedan, respectively.

The Open Wheel Races have an F1 vibe and offer triple GTA$ and RP. If you're fast enough and score three wins to complete the weekly challenge, you get $100,000 and the coveted Rockstar Racing Suit. After you finish that, head to the remote-controlled RC Bandito Races, which also offer three times the usual rewards.

Taxi work has never been so profitable, handing out four times the typical GTA$ through May 8. You must visit the Downtown Cab Co. in East Vinewood to get things in motion.

The Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom has new offers:
  • Dundreary Landstalker XL (SUV, 30% off)
  • Übermacht SC1 (Super, 30% off)
  • Übermacht Zion Classic (Sports Classic, 30% off)
  • Schyster Deviant (Muscle)
  • Western Wolfsbane (Motorcycle)

There are tons more rides at great prices:
  • Progen PR4 (Open Wheel) – 40% off
  • Declasse DR1 (Open Wheel) – 40% off
  • Ocelot R88 (Open Wheel) – 40% off
  • FH-1 Hunter (Helicopter) – 30% off

  • Grotti Stinger (Sports Classic) – 30% off
  • Übermacht SC1 (Super) – 30% off
  • Dundreary Landstalker XL (SUV) – 30% off
  • Übermacht Zion Classic (Sports Classic) – 30% off
  • Shitzu Squalo (Boat) – 30% off
  • Bravado Banshee (Sports) – 30% off

The Gun Van Inventory also has valuable items at reduced prices, but only for GTA+ members. The Pipe Wrench, Precision Rifle, and Up-N-Atomizer are currently 40% off. The Machine Gun has a 30% discount, while others still keep their full price, like the Minigun, Pump Shotgun, Proximity Mines, Grenades, Tear Gas, and the almightly Armor.

With no word on Grand Theft Auto VI other than what Rockstar Games already said with the release of the game's first and only trailer, all we can do is wait and hope another one drops this year explaining gameplay mechanics and other features.

Codrin just loves American classics, from the 1940s and ‘50s, all the way to the muscle cars of the '60s and '70s. In his perfect world, we'll still see Hudsons and Road Runners roaming the streets for years to come (even in EV form, if that's what it takes to keep the aesthetic alive).
