Lamborghini has always referred to certain models born at the Sant'Agata Bolognese facility as boasting several elements inspired by fighter jets. And if it is one automotive equivalent of such a magnificent machine, it is none other than the discontinued Lamborghini Aventador.
During its long production run that spanned from early 2011 to late 2022, countless copies of this V12-powered exotic beast have been visited by the tuning fairy. The fact that Lamborghini ceased production of this model one and a half years ago doesn't mean anything to certain owners who keep modifying their Aventadors.
Case at hand, meet one of the latest Lamborghini Aventadors with a tuning touch that we have just met. The blue-blooded model is celebrating its 15 minutes of fame on velosdesignwerks' social media, the same account that brought that sexy Range Rover to our attention. The supercar in question follows a similar theme, albeit with a more exotic stance, and we absolutely love it.
Whoever said that supercars only look good in lively hues like orange, yellow, green, purple, and so on has probably never seen a true murdered-out example. Thus, they'd better pay attention to this fabulous Aventador, which boasts a satin black look on all body panels. A few elements feature a glossy finish, and the only contrast is provided by the red brake calipers visible from behind the five double-spoke alloys that came from the aftermarket world.

A peek inside reveals that this Lamborghini Aventador Roadster boasts more red. This color is visible on the seats and probably on other components. Nevertheless, since the quoted social media page hasn't released more images of the cockpit, we couldn't tell you more about it. Moreover, the Italian Bull also has privacy windows all around that provide some much-deserved privacy to the supercar's occupants.
Less is often more in the tuning world, so the owner appears to have drawn the line at the simple yet effective satin black look and the wheels that came straight from Velos' portfolio. These are called the VXS 01. They're a two-piece forged proposal available in several sizes, from 18 to 26 inches in diameter, with numerous custom finishes and additional goodies. They're compatible with the OEM tire pressure monitoring sensors and can also be ordered with a center-locking option.
This is one of the coolest Lamborghini Aventadors we have recently seen, and it is even more impressive given that the model's assembly ended altogether, with the Italian automaker launching the Revuelto as its successor. The electrified supercar stays true to the naturally aspirated V12 recipe. It uses a 6.5L unit and three electric motors for a total of 1,001 horsepower (1,015 ps/747 kW). The 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) takes 2.5 seconds, and it has a 217 mph (350 kph) maximum speed.
